For dinner, Via Tavernelle and the area around the temples offer several options, including seafood, meat dishes and pizza.
Our suggestions are Antiche Mura Grill & Wine, Alici Cucina Mediterranea and Pizzeria La Basilica.

If You Have More Time: Discover Agropoli

If you have a free evening during Paestum Wine Fest 2027, Agropoli is a lovely choice for discovering another side of the Cilento coast.

  • Start at Piazza Vittorio Veneto, in the heart of the town, where you can stroll among local shops, cafés and businesses.
  • Then visit the Agropoli Archaeological Museum, located inside Palazzo Civico delle Arti. The museum tells the story of Agropoli and Cilento from ancient times to the Middle Ages, through objects related to daily life, the sea and local trade. To plan your visit, discover our Agropoli Walking Tour: Archaeological Museum and Panoramic Aperitif.
  • Continue to Agropoli’s historic centre: walk up the steps, explore the narrow streets and reach the Belvedere, one of the area’s most panoramic viewpoints over the sea.
  • At the end of the steps, you will find the Church of Madonna di Costantinopoli. To finish the evening, enjoy dinner at Vecchio Saracino | Carola 1801, near the harbour, where you can taste seafood and traditional Cilento products.

Paestum Holidays can arrange your private transfer from Paestum to Agropoli and back, so you can enjoy the evening without worrying about transport.

For a more complete visit, discover our Agropoli Walking Tour: Archaeological Museum and Panoramic Aperitif: a guided experience of about three and a half hours including the Archaeological Museum, historic centre, Angevin-Aragonese Castle and Belvedere, with an aperitif or dinner.
