Minori together with Maiori, is one of the most ancient village of the " Amalfitan Coast". 
Some historical asset that Minori descended from Etruscan origin. But the beauty of this little village attracted many important tourists, especially rich families from the Roman Empire, who built a "Villa" which is well preserved still today, it is possible to visit and admire it.

Minori was full of people who made "home made pasta" long before the intervention of the technology, but still nowdays, there are a lot of housekeepers who devote themselves to the "culture" of home-made pasta and, with the work of their hands, are able to prepare fresh pasta like "Ricci", "Ndunderi", "Scialatielli" . . .that are served with sauces with sausages full of fennel, fillet of tomatoes with planty of basil, or afrodisiac sea fruit.
